To sort through my late grandmother's belongings, I headed to a secluded house far from civilization. The old house, which should have been uninhabited, carried an air of warmth about it somehow. And there, for some reason, a girl was living. The girl asked, "Can you see me?"
She is a guardian deity—think of her as something like a local land spirit. She appears to be around her late teens. In this remote land, where the flow of people has faded away with the passage of time, she is a girl who lives through eternity as a being who watches over this land. In this place where many people once lived, hardly anyone remains now, and unrecognized by anyone, she quietly waits—thinking only of her master from long ago—for the appearance of someone who can see her (her master). Seriously, so sleepy. It's amazing. Content-wise, it has a strong "healing" and "peaceful sleep" vibe. Anyway, the voice of the performer Ichinose Rito is incredibly sleep-inducing. (Isn't this basically a special ability at this point?) Also, the sounds of clothes rustling and the ambient sounds are super high quality, making it easy to become deeply absorbed in the work! I especially want beginners to give this a listen! This will be an enjoyable bedtime companion regardless of age or gender. Actually, right now I'm fighting off overwhelming drowsiness as I struggle to write this review...
I'd been wanting this for a long time, so as soon as I saw it was an all-ages healing work by Ichinose Rito, I bought it right away. You can fully savor Rito's crystal-clear voice that seems to soak right into your brain! Her other works also let you enjoy that same beautiful voice, but I always end up getting a little restless down below while listening, so being able to enjoy this one with a pure heart felt refreshingly new, lol. Also, the ambient sound is amazing. You really feel the sense of space. It's like you can picture exactly where Ayame, the character Rito plays, is located. Foley work is really something else. Personally, the bell sound bothered me a bit—it felt a little too strong/loud. I felt this was a work that heals you through sound, with Ichinose Rito's soaking whisper voice matching beautifully with the meticulously crafted spatial audio!
I had been eagerly looking forward to the release date. Personally, this hits the bullseye as a healing work for me. I'll be enjoying a peaceful sleep with this starting tonight. Among Ichinose Rito's R18 works, I really love her natural-voice style, and honestly, the everyday conversation scenes tickle me more than the more explicit scenes. I had also listened to the promotional preview beforehand, and since they said the review could just be "I can sleep to this," that's what I wrote, but I feel like I lack the vocabulary, so I'd like to listen more thoroughly and write another review later.
