Even in my own hazy childhood memories (not that they're all that reliable...), I feel like it was my grandmother singing, so maybe that's just coloring my impression, haha. Also, since it says "boya" (little boy), I guess it's technically meant for boys only? The "Edo~" version has a slightly lonely, melancholic atmosphere with a strong traditional Japanese feel, so I'd recommend it to anyone who prefers that kind of mood. Please let your favorite voice actress sing you a lullaby anytime. I was genuinely surprised at how many voice actresses took part in this!
