Listeners who love slow, healing romance with a fragile, endearing heroine and gentle, whisper-driven ASMR care.
On a snowy midnight, a girl who was once enslaved collapses at your doorstep, wounded in body and heart. Taking her in as her master, alongside your maid, you slowly rebuild her broken trust through quiet, everyday tenderness. Gentle whispers and soft head pats guide her toward a warm, bittersweet healing.
Rei is a girl with no family, who spent her life drifting from one institution to another. "I was employed as a maid" sounds nice enough, but the reality was that she was "kept as a sl*ve." Unable to endure her master's tyranny any longer, Rei fled the institution, only to collapse from exhaustion in front of "your" house. "Sniff... where... am I? Why am I in a place like this?" "It was snowing, and it was the middle of the night, and it was so, so cold." "I had nowhere to go, so I just kept walking and walking." Having lived as a sl*ve, Rei spent her life reading the faces of others so as not to anger them. She speaks haltingly, gets frightened by the smallest things, and cries easily. Toward "you," who protects and cares for her so warmly, Rei gradually begins to open her heart, but her past trauma makes her hopelessly timid no matter what. "No one... was ever kind to me." "Sometimes... I was even hit." "So, um... I'm scared... to trust people." This is a story of two wounded, lonely souls "healing each other." "Whenever my name was called, it was always right before something painful or terrible happened to me." "So my name... holds no good memories for me." "Um, Master. I have... a request." "Would you... give me a name?"
A girl with no family, who spent her life drifting from one institution to another. Having a past of being kept as a sl*ve, she flees her institution, unable to endure her master's tyranny any longer, and collapses from exhaustion in front of "your" house. She speaks haltingly, gets frightened by the smallest things, and cries easily. Because of past trauma, she is afraid to trust people, and even her own name holds no good memories for her. She craves affection, and in her lisping way of speaking, mispronounces "Master" (goshujin-sama) as "goshujinsama" with a slight slur.

The first thing I thought was, her voice is just too good... (nerd) This time's voice actress, Rito Ichinose, is making her debut appearance with this circle. The content could be called a bit niche, and on top of that, the subject matter this time was quite heavy, so I was thinking it must have been pretty difficult to pull off. But even so, it was good beyond what I could have imagined. Rather than baring emotions outright, it feels more like they seep out naturally. The voice quality itself is wonderful, but so are the subtle breathing, the pauses between words, the way she cries. I was surprised — I didn't know there was a way to convey things like this. In particular, the way her voice gradually becomes tearful as she keeps talking is truly amazing... it almost made me want to cry too. As for the scenario, I touched on this a bit earlier, but it's quite heavy. Combined with Rito's voice, there were scenes painful enough that I thought they might become a trauma. And yet there are also parts where you're properly given release, parts that heal your heart, so I think you can have a rich, dense experience. The part where they pat each other's heads is absolutely adorable (whispering). The ending and how the story wraps up are also beautifully done, I think. Also, the bonus content included is incredibly good too, so please do check it out. It further expands your imagination of the main story. That illustration and that voice were both amazing... In terms of how deeply it moves you, this was overwhelming compared to everything I've listened to so far. My tears welled up during a certain scene and I had a rough time, but I want to recommend this from the bottom of my heart. It's a work that leaves you with a slightly bittersweet feeling, but even more than that, a gentle, warm one.
A girl who was kept as a slave escapes from her master and collapses from exhaustion in front of your house. After finding her, you decide to let her stay at your place for a while... I had the chance to listen to another work with a scenario handled by Re:sound, and it was so moving that it piqued my interest, leading me to purchase this work. Normally I only pick voice works based on my favorite voice actresses, so this is the first time I've bought one purely for the scenario. After finishing one listen-through, I was left completely dazed, overwhelmed by sadness and tenderness. The heroine Rei's circumstances and the emotional wounds she carries were far heavier than I had expected, and there was one track that was so painful to listen to that I wanted to rip my earphones off. Also, Rito Ichinose's performance is truly wonderful. The way her voice fades as if constantly gauging the other person's expression, the faint breathing right before she starts crying — it's such delicate acting that I found myself emotionally invested in Rei right from the start. With no unnecessary sounds either, it went beyond just listening — I felt pulled into that world. There are definitely parts that are painful to listen to and that take an emotional toll, but precisely because of those elements, it's a work that's all the more heartwarming.
I finished listening to the work and am writing this review right away. This is the first time a voice work has made my tears not stop. The wonderful scenario combined with Rito Ichinose's performance, perfectly embodying Rei as if she were really there, and before I knew it I had completely entered the world of the work. The delicate breathing, the shifts in Rei's emotions — every single expression was truly wonderful. Because I got so absorbed into the work, there were parts that were genuinely so sad it became painful to keep listening, honestly. It might sound strange to say this about a voice work, but there were parts I wanted to look away from. In one track, tears wouldn't stop falling completely naturally, and all sorts of emotions welled up with each and every word Rei spoke. This was a work I could genuinely say I'm glad I listened to. I can recommend it from the bottom of my heart to everyone, and it's a work I truly want people to listen to. Of course to fans of Rito Ichinose, and to fans of Re:sound's scenarios, but also to people who didn't know either Rito Ichinose or Re:sound and had never listened to their work before... in any case, I just want everyone to listen to it! (lol) I'm writing this while still carrying the emotions from listening to the work, so I apologize if the writing feels a bit clumsy. I really want to say thank you for such a wonderful work. Lastly, the bonus track made me chuckle a little just from its title, but it was also incredibly cute (lol)
