The Young Lord's Ear Care ~His Older Childhood-Friend Maid Wants to Pamper Him Under the Guise of Rest~

I bought this after learning that Noguchi Yuri would be starring in it. The listener is set up as a lord who governs land and subjects. I can't quite imagine the exhaustion of being chased by work and time, but I felt like this might resemble us modern people in that way. The good point is that the daily burdens and fatigue get healed by a maid who is also a childhood friend serving close at hand. She supports you both in her position as head maid and as a childhood friend, but there are many scenes where she interacts with you as a childhood friend, and it made me feel like it was okay to lay bare my weaknesses. Noguchi-san brilliantly portrays a warm, big-hearted woman who's a mix of "big sister" and "wife." By the time I finished the final track, I honestly felt "I want her by my side from now on too." I'll keep listening to this as a vitamin for the soul!

It was discounted and cheap, and the sample had a calm way of speaking that I liked, so I bought it. The voice actress is Noguchi Yuri; the Ryza anime was airing until quite recently, so it's fresh in memory. If you heard her voice there and thought you liked it, I think this is worth buying. Her speaking style here isn't the super energetic type, but the distinctive parts of her voice remain, so it's easy to tell it's the same voice actress. There's no sudden excitement or loud voices/sounds, so it's easy to fall asleep to, which I'm satisfied with.

An older big-sister-type maid, isn't that great. Actually, until I heard this work, I had a strong impression of Noguchi Yuri as someone who plays younger, friendly characters, and while her voice itself hasn't drastically changed, I was surprised at how her way of speaking gave off that "big sister soothing a child" feeling. As for the content, if you listen to it at night after work, you'll sleep soundly almost until morning; it's especially effective when you've worked your body and mind to exhaustion. This is probably because it's easy for the listener to relate to the fact that the protagonist, a young lord, is also someone chased by grueling work. And the old stories and mementos casually woven into the conversation—like being given this or that back then, or having been a crybaby in the past—let you vaguely picture the scenery even though you never actually saw it. Good. Personally, I love episodes that stir up that kind of imagination.
