[Azur Lane ASMR] Healing Squad for the Commander! – Le Malin's Elegant Slacking-Off Time

Now, first it's time to prepare. Whether you're a battle-hardened Commander or someone who isn't even a Commander yet, before you sprawl out spread-eagle on your futon... Try chanting the magic words "Lazy Dimanche" into your device. And look, some mysterious mochi-softness should appear as a result. Haha, "what's this funny thing?" you ask? Oh, what a strange thing to say. She's right there, isn't she? On the package. The lovely beautiful girl herself. Don't cover your eyes, don't look away. This is your wicked blade. And by the way, feel free to assume she stays like this the whole way through. Lucky you!!! Have you managed to face reality safely? Well then, all that's left is to just lie down however you like, right? Just leave it to our pure-white paladin to heal you without really doing anything much at all. Seriously, you did nothing! When it comes purely to dragging you into sleep, I think this might be the strongest one yet. With that voice and tone that could put you to sleep even if left alone, you're relentlessly encouraged to just be lazy. Having your back washed, or getting a massage, is of course wonderful too. But for those of us who, once tired, basically just want to feel at ease, this devil's whisper is just too strong. And when there's an obviously warm and cozy little thing snuggled right up against you, well, that's an instant knockout. You get dragged into some mysterious game of hide-and-seek partway through, but please forgive it. The healing squad, you ask? Don't ask me. Despite being alone together in a cramped, enclosed space — a situation that should normally make your heart race — I ended up drifting off into a peaceful, dead sleep without so much as a millimeter of excitement. That's probably because this girl is Le Malin. It's a pretty rude thing to say, but please forgive it — because she's Le Malin. She's just Le Malin, after all. There's plenty I want to say, or rather, plenty I feel I have to point out, but in the end, my fatigue really did melt away. I'd like to close this out by borrowing, straight from the character herself, words that seem to sum up both this work and her — something I simply can't argue with. Now then, shall we become useless together?

It's laid-back right from the start lol It's nostalgic now, but when she first appeared, I thought from the thumbnail she'd be some dignified princess-knight type lol But in reality, all the costumes added for her are these sort of melted-looking ones. I see, so that's the kind of girl she is lol Given the track order, the "title call" went "lazy version" then "elegant version," so I thought I might catch a cold from the temperature difference lol Still, this girl whispers right in your ear so intensely, and yet almost all of it is stuff that's "bad for you" — so very Le Malin-chan of her lol It's healing, but more than that, I feel like it had a kind of warm, heartwarming vibe to it. Still, this is something true across the whole series — everyone ends up being kind one way or another, and they properly heal you, so I'm looking forward to the next installment too.

Let me say upfront that I don't actually know Le Malin very well from the game, since I skipped the Iris (Vichya)-related events... I'm adding this after already writing it, but honestly this is less a review and more of a report at this point. ◎ Title Call & Track 1 Right from the title call, we get both the "hidden" side and the "public" side of Le Malin, which is a relief. By Track 1 you already get both her pathetic voice and her taunting voice, so it's basically the Le Malin starter kit...... ◎ Track 2 So close. So close. SO CLOSE!!!! I thought it was just sleeping side by side, but she was on top of the Commander!?!? She even tries to brainwash you into corruption too — what is this woman... don't blame me if I fall for her... ◎ Track 3 Le Malin getting energized by a snack is so cute... The way she properly brews tea is so elegant... ◎ Track 4 There's counting, and clearly described close-contact moments inside the closet, so there are quite a few parts that make you think, "Wait, isn't this actually a lewd ASMR?" Her scared, about-to-cry look is way too much like a small animal...... ◎ Track 5 This is just too much, no explanation needed. This is straight-up brainwashing. Overall, my strongest impression is that you can really feel the "heat" in the close-contact whispering. Honestly, this might be the most effort-filled whispering in the whole Azur Lane ASMR series...... It makes full use of Le Malin's character, and it also properly hints at her connections with other Vichya and Iris-related characters. On top of that, I was impressed that it could deliver this much healing without relying on the usual ASMR staples like ear cleaning. As a work, I think it's quite polished and complete. Needless to say, I went and gave Le Malin a ring after this.
