[Azur Lane ASMR] A Healing Squad for the Commander! Today Is Nagato's Time to Comfort You

Ever since the live broadcast when this work was first announced, I had a feeling something amazing was coming, and I was waiting eagerly for it — and now that it's finally released, I bought it right away. As part of the "Healing Squad," she tries all sorts of ways to comfort us Commanders despite being unpracticed at it, and through each of those depictions you can really feel Nagato's deep, straightforward affection — it's genuinely adorable. Also, it goes without saying at this point, but Kuno-san's voice was just devastatingly good, and my ears were happy the whole way through. I ended up dozing off partway through Track 4, so I'm going in for a second listen. Nagato is so cute, Nagato is so cute.

Nagato is dependable and composed, but when she changes outfits she becomes sweet and clingy. This is recommended for those who feel they don't get enough of that 'sweetness.' The 'healing' that's the concept of this work is truly there. However, as the title suggests, it would be such a waste to just fall asleep lying beside her. And when you listen, I highly recommend laying out your futon and listening while lying down (but you absolutely must not fall asleep). Because of the nature of ASMR, it's easy to really feel like she's right beside you — my wife, that is, Nagato, lies down next to me just like that, so you get to hear her fresh, genuine breathing as she sleeps. There are plenty of other good points too, but explaining everything would spoil it, so please give it a listen yourself.

This is a voice work featuring Azur Lane's Nagato — a character with a still somewhat childlike appearance and an incredibly cute voice, yet who speaks with dignified, formal language. The dignity comes from the fact that she actually holds a high-ranking position... and that's precisely why she's not very used to the act of "healing," which is the concept of this work. The way Nagato, despite being unpracticed, works hard to comfort you anyway makes for an incredibly endearing experience. Despite her dignity, she's still a cute girl just as her appearance suggests... and there's a side of her where, just when you think she's putting you to sleep, she ends up getting sleepy herself first. What an adorable girl. Also, perhaps because it's just the two of you alone, her speech occasionally becomes more casual, and there are moments where the atmosphere gets a little charged... Hurry up and kiss already!! Overall, the mood is relaxed and laid-back, filled with nothing but cuteness — I found myself grinning again and again while listening. And in the final track, there's a part where Nagato's honest feelings are spoken, giving it a slightly poignant scene as well... If you're a fan of Nagato, this is a work I'd definitely recommend giving a listen.
