[Azur Lane ASMR] Operation Heal the Commander! Sheffield's All-Day Refresh

I haven't played Azur Lane, but I'm a fan of the voice actress, so I bought this. Speaking of the voice actress Yoshimi Ohara, she has a very gentle, soft voice, and there are already several of her ASMR works on DLsite. Looking at the package, my first thought was, "Wait, is this a cool-type character?" Given her voice quality, she's often cast in characters with somewhat childlike, cute designs. Even for "downer"-type roles, she tends to voice characters with a certain softness, so I was a bit surprised by this cool, sharp character type, but I bought it right away anyway. In conclusion, it was amazing. She can make a voice like that?!!??? Wait, that's so cool!!?? Cool, but gentle, a little sharp-tongued but full of love!!? The quality as an ASMR work was also excellent, and I fell fast asleep, writing this review the next morning. I'd also recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a side of Yoshimi Ohara's voice that's different from usual!

"Just as I thought" was my honest impression. What I mean is, Sheffield's voice is insanely suited for ASMR. I don't think it's great to sum it up in one word, but it's the so-called "downer type" that's popular in the voice work scene. And yet cute. There's a lot of whispering close to voiceless whispers right by your ear, and it's incredibly soothing. She occasionally lets out cute little sounds like "Nn///" ^^ And although I wrote that she's "foul-mouthed," as those who know her already know, this girl loves her Commander very much. I'll avoid spoilers, but of course she conveys that in words in this work too. For the most part she still sounds composed even then, but there are moments where her tone becomes a little bashful... Just for that alone, it's worth buying if you're a fan of Sheffield.

I've bought a few titles in this series, but honestly none of them really clicked with me (even though the characters were cute), so I was starting to wonder if ASMR just wasn't for me. However, since my absolute favorite Sheffield was featured, I bowed my head and bought it. It was amazing. First there's an introduction full of Sheffield's characteristic venomous remarks (there's even gunfire). At this point I was nowhere near falling asleep, but gradually she starts showing her gentle side. When she gets close to the Commander, it really feels like Sheffield is right there next to your ear. That's the feeling you get. And then, after plenty of flirting, a lap pillow. If you know her character setting, the thrill of the lap pillow doubles. Sometimes she lets out rough breaths like "Ugh" or "Nngh"... what exactly is she doing…? And then, just as I was feeling all flustered, the word "I like you"! My whole body just trembled. Is there such happiness in this world as having Sheffield whisper her love to you? And as if delivering the finishing blow, she repeats "I like you" over and over. I felt like my body was going to melt away. When it ended, I found myself thinking, don't go yet! Sheffield's slightly low voice paired wonderfully with the whispering, and I could feel her close by the whole time. So this is how destructive ASMR can be. It made me imagine that maybe this is how things always are, all lovey-dovey, back at my home port. Atelier Mail, and the voice actress, thank you for this wonderful audio work. I think I would have bought it even if it cost 100 times as much. This is an absolute must-buy for any Commander who loves Sheffield. And finally, I love you, Sheffie!
