My Live-In Girlfriend Wants to Sleep Beside You

When the preview for the new release came out, I saw the repeated "I like you, I like you" and the sleeping breath track, and I nearly cried tears of joy. Her girlfriend, voiced by Miku Otsuka, has this warm, embracing-older-sister vibe that's really my type. Even though it's an audio work, it's even more enjoyable when the visuals match your preferences. I thought this would be a work where I get to be the spoiled one, but instead Miku-san is the one being clingy and sweet, which is adorable. Having Miku-san seem so happy from the morning made me feel happy too. By track 1, I was already completely captivated by Miku-san. The pleasant conversation with Miku-san feels comfortable, and I felt like the distance between us was close - not just physically, but in a strange way, emotionally too. The sense of everyday life that comes through in the conversation feels very real. From tracks 4 to 6, the conversation decreases and the sense of relaxation increases. It would be nice to just fall asleep like this. The sound of Ichinoya-san's towel is pleasant and one of my favorites. The classic ear cleaning and the bonten (ear brush) are also soothing. I was very satisfied having both ears thoroughly attended to. There's even ear-blowing, which made me happy. The track begins with a conversation where you can really feel the happiness, then moves into the repeated "I like you" track. Miku-san says "I like you" filled with love, sounding so happy. I love her so much. I'm so happy my brain is melting. It made me feel like living together would be nice, and that I want to cherish my girlfriend. The just-right breathing sounds let you sense Miku-san's presence without disturbing your sleep. Breathing in sync with her sleeping breath, the happiness of sleeping together with your girlfriend. The breathing isn't perfectly regular the whole time - the variation feels realistic and good. I was happy that it lasted a full 15 minutes. I fell asleep feeling happy. The next morning, right after waking up, I listened to track 1 and ended up in an infinite loop on my own. I suppose a kiss would break the loop. It felt completely natural with no sense of acting at all - even in tracks with few lines, Miku-san's joy came through wonderfully from those few lines. It was truly excellent acting. Except for track 8, which has no dialogue, Miku-san laughed a lot and seemed to be having fun in every single track. Having her by my side, laughing and looking happy - that alone was enough to make me feel happy. It was a wonderful work.

Lately I haven't been sleeping well and it's been taking longer to fall asleep, so I was looking for a good situational voice work that might help me sleep peacefully, and happened to find this one and bought it. The sound quality is amazing! Also, of course the sleeping breath part was great, but the transition into sleep from the very beginning was extremely smooth, and I was able to fall asleep without any discomfort. Though if I had to say one thing, I prefer my left ear, so I'd always want to listen with it on the left - it would have been perfect if there was a left-right reversed version.

I bought this almost reflexively just because it's a work by Rito Ichinose. It was an impulse buy, but I'm nothing but satisfied with the content. There's a lot of lovey-dovey moments throughout, giving it a sweet feel. But I think the main focus was the healing feeling from the just-right amount of lovey-dovey. I'm not a fan of the pushy, aggressive type of lovey-dovey, but this had just the right amount, and it was perfect. Thanks to both the scenario and Ichinose-san's voice, the relationship felt neither too distant nor too close (though there was a lot of physical closeness), and I was extremely satisfied.
