This series is honestly the best! This time the setting is a swimsuit date at the seaside. Ebihara Beniko-sensei's jacket illustration is unbearably sexy—I nearly fainted the moment I saw it… But the main content, as always, unfolds with that same gentle, calm atmosphere. There's (almost) no bittersweet romantic development; it's still a pure, wholesome kind of interaction being woven together. The heroines have increased to two, but the rhythm and flow of the conversations aren't disrupted at all—if anything, it's livelier and more fun. The scenario writing, which lets you naturally immerse yourself in the story without losing the appeal of each character, is truly impressive. I really feel the writer's skill here. I find myself looking forward to where this series goes even more from now on.
The two heroines, Nozomi-chan and Kaho-chan, each had such distinct personalities that I never got bored and was thoroughly healed! Both of them have ear-cleaning tracks, and they each carried out their own approach perfectly—it was amazing! An easygoing older sister and a tsundere younger sister really are just too cute!! Also, the way the contrast between the two was drawn so clearly and beautifully was really great.
The Sea Sisters series, which I personally consider this circle's greatest masterpiece. This time it's the combo of the easygoing eldest daughter and the tsundere third daughter. This duo is just like the North Wind and the Sun. Their flawless combination soothes the heart, and you end up falling for them, body and soul. What I personally love especially is the shaved ice scene. The sound of the ice being shaved, together with their voices, feels like it's shaving away the rough edges of my heart too.
