There was no sample, so my guard went up a bit, but I thought "well, it's RaRo, they've got a solid track record, so it'll probably be fine..." and bought it. As a result, there were no issues. It's the reliable and stable RaRo we know. If anything, I'd even say the balance between voice and sound got better. What personally left a good impression on me was the beach walk part. ASMR works that have a walking part are a minority, but there are quite a few of them, and I think what matters is the "footsteps." In this work, the sound really conveys the feeling of "walking on a sandy beach," so it was easy to build the imagery in my head. There's a sample on YouTube too, so searching for RaRo and giving it a listen is also an option.
I figured that just having Satomi Sato play the big sister role would make this an incredibly healing work, but it was even more healing than I imagined. The classic ear cleaning part was, of course, incredibly soothing and amazing, but personally, my favorite is the track where the two of you go for a walk together. The sound of waves coming from the sea combined with the footsteps pressing into the sand made for such a wonderfully calm and comfortable time.
This is the ultimate healing work, gently soothing you while you listen to the sound of waves. Rather than rain sounds, insect chirping, or water sounds, it starts with the sound of gentle ripples, letting you begin listening in a deeply healed state right from the intro.
