No Matter What, It Ends in Marriage: A Close-Contact Resort with the Seductive Second Son & Serious Youngest Brother [Doting ASMR]

I've been familiar with Katsuhira-san's voice since I was little. Whenever someone asks who my favorite voice actor is, I've always answered Yamaguchi Katsuhira, so when I found out he was in this situation CD, I was surprised and incredibly happy at the same time. The story starts off with the unrealistic setup of suddenly having six stepbrothers, but that actually let me fully immerse myself in the world, which was fun. Narita-san's Mikan-kun was great too, but the world shared between the heroine and Katsuhira-san's Shiichi-kun was, embarrassing as it is to say, really happy-making. I'd honestly love a sequel to the individual route if possible.

I was surprised at how peaceful this was compared to the rest of the series. It's a "VS" type work, but there's no hostility at all, and you can just enjoy a fun time. There were quite a lot of monologues. Shiichi-san, who can sense others' emotions. He seems to have gotten into the habit of avoiding contact with people, maybe to avoid mental fatigue or trouble, so at first I felt a wall between us, but he broke it down himself right away. He lets you into his heart fast. He'll do things like gently bump his forehead against yours. Miorange-san (Michahi-san?) doesn't seem like the youngest at all, in looks, voice, or personality. The way he keeps saying "imouto yo" ("oh, little sister") really got me. I thought he'd be someone hard to get close to, a mix of rationalist and gaming otaku, but when the heroine mentioned she liked games, he showed her his gameplay screen. Apparently you can go over anytime you want to play games. The two of these indoor types end up going on a resort trip. With Shiichi-san, it's playing at doing a couple's livestream. They record it but agree not to publish it. They feed each other sweets, which is in a way an embarrassment play. Shiichi-san's voice is so cute and sweet during it. With Miorange-san, it's participating in a real-life escape game. It's a close-proximity, heart-pounding event where you solve puzzles together. Miorange-san being pleased when called a "genius" is adorable. Surprisingly, there wasn't much of a "dark/obsessive" element—it was a cute, competing-for-affection rom-com. Neither of them pushes his feelings on the heroine too hard, and they both cherish her without giving in to the other. Both Shiichi-san and Miorange-san seem to realize, through being with the heroine, sides of themselves they never knew before, and they don't dislike that—they want to be with her more, they love her, that sort of feeling. And apparently neither of them has been legally acknowledged by their father. This family is complicated, huh. The free talk was fun thanks to the two actors' banter. Since they've worked together before, they seemed to talk very casually. There were some pretty candid remarks like "we did this scene in this kind of position" or "I couldn't help but think about this," so if you want to savor the work's afterglow and the characters, I'd recommend listening to the free talk on a different day (lol). There were also some words that made me go "oh, that's from that famous anime!", which personally made me happy—overall it was really fun.

Looking at the visuals, I expected a heavy, obsession-type situation drama, but it turned out to be a wholesome rom-com. If you're into hardcore obsession-type works, you might find this lacking, so be warned. If you're in it for the voice actors, you'll enjoy it. Miorange-oniichan, played by Narita-san, seems to be closer to the comic relief role? In the cast comments, Narita-san and Yamaguchi-san were chatting away happily, a bit shyly, getting along well together, and it was really healing to listen to.
