The Voice Where My Little Sister Makes Me Udon

Just as the title says, this is a voice work about a little sister making udon for you. She takes her time actually getting around to it, though. Listening to the fun, well-paced back-and-forth with the cheerful, slightly tsundere little sister—like a comedy skit or manzai routine—puts you in a great mood. If you're not expecting authentic hand-pulled udon or hoping to hear the two of you eating together with chewing sounds, I think this is a satisfying work.

This is a voice work capturing a slice of daily life where the little sister, despite pouting and getting angry, ultimately makes udon for her big brother. The cooking itself is simple—just heating up frozen udon—but if anything, that down-to-earth feeling really brings out the charm of the little sister character. The way she complains in a tsundere-ish manner but ends up taking care of you anyway gives off a heartwarming sense of a close sibling relationship. The well-paced banter naturally brings a smile to your face, and the occasional line that makes your heart skip a beat adds a nice bit of spice. It's also a manageable length, making it a heartwarming listen before bed or during a break from work.

It starts with cheerful-sounding music. Her slightly cheeky voice when she's huffing and puffing is adorable, and her way of speaking is just the best. In the end, the little sister does go along with what her big brother says, but she quickly forgets and starts blaming him again. But the way she won't admit it and tells a little lie is also cute in its own way. And the fact that she doesn't seem to feel bad about it at all is great too. Also, when she gets into that "I like you, I like you" mode, she becomes even more unbearably cute. Highly recommended.
