Prologue! A certain everyday life... The protagonist (me) is a first-year female university student who moved to the city. The surroundings were unfamiliar, and in the midst of that, there was a kind older sister living next door, 'Matsuki Mion-san.' I became completely close with 'Mion-san,' to the point where we ate meals together and visited each other's rooms. One day, on the day we had promised to go to the aquarium, I fell ill from the morning. And so, that day, I ended up being nursed by 'Mion-san'!? Thus begins a life of being spoiled and nursed by the older 'Mion-san'... Point! As for the situations, you can experience wiping down your body, lying together at close range with pleasant sleeping breaths, lap pillows, and many other situations with 'Mion-chan'! I got to spend a super sweet, healing time♪ That's about it—I've given just a 'light' explanation of a tiny part of the content. 'Mion-chan' is waiting for you♪
You and Mion-san are next-door neighbors. She's a kind older sister, and you make a promise to go out together for the first time. However, perhaps due to daily fatigue, you collapse on the day itself and end up bedridden with a cold. Even then, the kind Mion-san rushes over to nurse you back to health...? This work depicts a still-ambiguous relationship between the two, which is rare for a SukeraSono voice work. What left an impression on me was Anzai Yukari-san's voice as Mion, relaxed and pleasant to listen to. It's a voice that gives you a sense of security just by listening—the kind you'd want to hear when you have a fever, winner of the 'Best Voice to Listen to While Sick' award. It feels like it could cure your cold. And since she stays by your side the whole time nursing you, the distance between you feels close. She feeds you, changes your clothes, wipes your sweat. In the quiet room where no one else is present but the two of you, the rustling of clothes and her breathing echo, making my heart pound strangely. 'This is medical care, medical care, medical care,' I kept telling myself in my head to suppress improper thoughts. But Mion-san, saying things like 'Oh, there's a mole here' or 'It's a secret' is not fair! I ended up shouting internally, 'Whoa!' The distance of not yet being together, seeming like mutual unspoken feelings, was also good. It's not simply sickeningly sweet—you're somewhat reserved, while Mion-san pushes forward, wanting you to rely on her more. The balance was good. And above all, I have to mention the jellyfish dream in Episode 4. I'll omit the details here, but Mion-san appears in your dream. It becomes a fantastical scene where the dream Mion-san talks about how she feels about you. I think the Mion-san in the dream is also a mirror reflection of you. In voice works, 'you' (the listener) is rarely depicted, but I was amazed at how this work manages to depict it through this method. I don't know how you'll feel hearing Mion-san's words. But for me, I felt that I didn't want to let go of her hand.
I bought this work as a fan of Anzai Yukari-san, but honestly, if I had an older sister next door like Mion-san, I'd want her to nurse me every day, even if I had to fake being sick! Also, Anzai-san's voice matches perfectly, making it very pleasant to listen to, so I highly recommend this work! (The bonus encouragement voice also seems to boost my self-esteem, which is another point in favor of recommending this work.)
