The Apprentice Maids: Bitter & Sweet!?

I've barely listened to any binaural audio before, so I can't really give a detailed comparison. I don't know enough to judge the sound quality either, but personally I didn't notice anything bothering me. As for the content, just knowing the half-fledged maids "Asahi (CV: Mia Naruse)" and "Mizuki (CV: Mai Kadowaki)" were in it made me fall for it before I even started listening... Hayakawa Akari's illustrations are so cute (I lack the vocabulary to describe it properly) After thoroughly memorizing their cute faces, I put on my wireless earphones and headed into the ear cleaning part... Close, amazing, that's it. Day 1 of purchase: While listening to the sleeping-together part with the two of them, I got into bed intending to fall asleep, but even though the maid was counting sheep for me, I fell asleep partway through and don't remember the second half... I woke up and it was already over... Day 2 of purchase: I tried to sleep while playing the sleeping breath loop track, but since I unconsciously sync my own breathing to the rhythm around me, being sandwiched between the two maids threw off my breathing rhythm and I couldn't breathe properly (lol) When I took out one earphone and slept with just one maid, I fell asleep easily. Even when I woke up in the morning, the sleeping breath audio was naturally still playing, so for a moment I actually mistook it for someone really sleeping next to me. Sorry for kicking you out yesterday, Mizuki-chan... today I'll sleep with you, Mizuki-chan... (in true otaku fashion) The cast's free talk part felt like a radio show and was easy to listen to. Since I like both voice actresses in charge of the characters in this work, it felt a bit too short. (If a maid like this really existed, I'd want her to take care of me, and I'd want to take care of her too...)

Asahi, played by Mia Naruse, and Mizuki, played by Mai Kadowaki—two trainee maids with completely different personalities gave me healing from both sides. Each of their ear-cleaning tracks brings out their individual character, which is great of course, but Track 4 is especially recommended. Sleeping together with both of them lets you hear their healing voices even closer, and I think it has an outstanding effect on getting a good night's sleep (though results may vary by person). Whether it's ProtoPlot, Mia Naruse, Mai Kadowaki, the energetic trainee maid, or the cool trainee maid, etc.—if even one of these strikes a chord with you, please give it a listen, and even if none of them do, please give it a try too.

It was an easy-to-listen-to work with a runtime that wasn't too long. A simultaneous recording work featuring Asahi (CV: Mia Naruse), who's friendly, cheerful, and honest about her own feelings, and Mizuki (CV: Mai Kadowaki), who's super dry at first but sincere about her duties. I had the image that voice works usually have long tracks, so I was very satisfied to be able to listen through it quickly. Both voice actresses were ones I already liked, which made it even better. Personally, I felt that Mizuki's ear-cleaning part really brought out the good parts of both Asahi and Mizuki's characters. The key visual is cute, the voice cast are people whose voices I love, and while the story is simple, it's an easy-to-listen-to good work. Having the cast free talk included on top of that made me really happy as a listener. Asahi's comical reactions like "Ehehe," "Ueeen?!," and "Faai" are endearing, and she has this sharp way of closing the distance with you... a straightforwardly cheerful vibe. Mizuki is super sharp-tongued at first, but she feels anxious about her duties, gets jealous, and even though she speaks quietly, she's actually more emotionally rich than anyone. It's a work you can listen through quickly, but it really lets you understand both characters well, and I thought it was very good. I'll write a review once I finish listening to 2 as well.
