"Sae onee-chan" in this work is a "laugh-out-loud", "strongest big sister" loaded with "nearly every moe trait" and "tons of girl-power charm"! I can't go into too much detail since it would spoil things, but moe moments, jokes, and girl-power charm are scattered generously throughout — it's audio that makes you happy just listening to it! There's also plenty of fun, laugh-out-loud material, so I can recommend it even to those who don't usually listen to romance works. The ratio feels like about 40% moe, 30% laughs, 30% girl-power charm — I think it's just the right mix. I'm looking forward to this circle's future works with different voice actresses that follow this same formula! To the circle, to Yuzuki Tsubame-sama, and to everyone involved in making this — thank you for such a wonderful work! I'm grateful!
What I especially love about this work is that "there are lucky-perv moments, but they never feel calculated or cheap!" Heart-pounding developments with Sae-neechan happen here and there, but I love that none of it is intentional on her part. She's not trying to seduce anyone, yet every little gesture of hers stirs up your desires, and while listening I kept squirming and thinking, "That's just unfair...!" It really feels like a work where you can picture the scene of getting mesmerized by even the most casual profile of Sae-neechan's face. Sae-neechan's inner monologue was also this cute back-and-forth struggle between reason and desire — it was so moe...! What a lovely work! (I also love that the track titles follow the 5-7-5 syllable pattern.)
A certain day spent with a pushy, at-her-own-pace older sister figure whose innocence (or is it calculation?) you can never quite pin down. As other reviewers have mentioned, it really evokes the atmosphere of a shounen-manga-style romantic comedy. But the one who's flustered isn't just the protagonist — the twist is that Sae-neechan herself turns out to be surprisingly nervous and heart-pounding too... It has a comedic touch, but just when you think the ending will turn quietly sweet and a little bittersweet... the story wraps up with a "nori" (seaweed) gag that suits the two of them perfectly. If you want to fondly recall those light, heartwarming, gently amusing feelings from your youth, this one's for you. I'd love to peek in on what happens between the two of them afterward too!
