Just For Today, Let Me Be Your Childhood Friend — An Idol's Secret Healing ASMR

Out of nowhere, I'll say it: this humble monk believes that ASMR isn't worth discussing unless a loli character licks your ears, lips, and one other spot. So why did someone like me buy this work? During my morning training, I'd heal my fatigue with Ms. Usui's morning streams, and since the start of this year she's been doing weekly ASMR streams. I was resistant at first, but gradually I became captivated. I'd love to go on about how wonderful Ms. Usui's ASMR streams are, but given the strict character limit, let me get on with reviewing this work. 1. A Reunion After a Long Time First, you open the door to find Ms. Usui's divine smile, greeting you with "Welcome home" in a situation reminiscent of a newlywed wife. This beautiful work begins with Ms. Usui apparently coming home on break to see her outrageous childhood friend (that's you). I should note she mentioned being quite nervous since this was her debut work and that it may have affected her performance, but this humble monk felt nothing of the sort — the usual heart-piercing healing was fully present. 2. Let Me Heal You with a Lap Pillow It begins with Ms. Usui asking, "Did you finish your shower?" I imagined this part could have led to one, or even three, sweet developments, but this beautiful work doesn't go there — and if you keep listening, you'll realize within seconds that such thoughts were mistaken. There's a scene where Ms. Usui pats her lap and asks you to rest your head there, and almost lets slip that she loves her outrageous childhood friend. I think Ms. Usui's charm lies in how, within this ordinary, unremarkable daily life — nothing extreme or stimulating — she effortlessly delivers healing that warms your heart. The beautiful moments continue afterward, and her sudden sighs pierce right through your whole body, and just when you're completely captivated body and soul, she delivers the final blow: this humble monk's absolute favorite, ear cleaning begins... ahh 3. Gently Cleaning Deep Inside Your Ears "What is this!? I'm running out of characters!

(I don't usually write reviews, so please forgive me if the writing is a bit hard to follow.) As always, Yura-chan, who I usually watch and listen to on streams, heals you up close, just for you. It's not especially stimulating or intense, but it has a familiar sense of comfort, while still making your heart flutter — that's the kind of healing this work offers. The great thing about Yura-chan's ASMR is the enveloping sense of security it gives you. The same can be said about her regular ASMR streams — this sense of security leads to healing and guides you into sleep. On top of that, this work gives you a sense of something special, which raises the healing factor even further. Of course I recommend it to those who like Yura-chan, but I'd also wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking that kind of healing — one with comfort, yet also a bit of heart-fluttering excitement. I was healed so much! And I couldn't stop loving Yura-chan even more! lol

This is a work where idol Usui Yura comes home and visits her childhood friend to heal you. She works hard to heal you with things like lap pillows, ear cleaning, and sleeping together. It's sweeter and more lovey-dovey than I expected. If you're curious about her voice, you can search "Usui Yura" on YouTube and listen to her ASMR there. Personally, I really love her voice, so I was healed like crazy.

Usui Yura, who's normally an idol, goes back to being just an ordinary girl as a childhood friend, and the atmosphere created by that "more than friends, not quite lovers" distance (wait, isn't this basically already dating!?) was amazing! Overall there's a lot of whispering, and I think this work lets you fully enjoy the charm of Yura's sweet, gentle voice. The sounds of ear cleaning and the oil massage were also gentle, with an outstanding healing effect! Personally, Track 5 was my favorite — I wish I could spend every day like this……

The [first] ASMR work from a hugely popular VTuber. Her voice is exceptionally cute, and she's an easily-moved-to-tears type with a bit of a charming quirk. Her first release to commemorate her [3rd anniversary]! Congratulations! Sometimes she energetically sends you off with a morning "have a good day" during her morning streams. Sometimes her healing voice explodes during singing streams. Sometimes she goes on grand adventures during game streams. Sometimes she's bawling her eyes out during anniversary streams. Sometimes she lulls you to sleep during ASMR streams. Since this ASMR stream [helps you fall into a really calm, deep sleep], I used to often listen to the archive while falling asleep for a peaceful night's rest... And now, it's finally been turned into a product?!! This work is a [special] present from a girl so active across so many fields, right?! This is... basically a love letter you listen to! This is an ASMR voice work by Usui Yura-chan, a VTuber belonging to the VTuber group "PROJECT NEBULA," commonly known as PuroNebu. I thought PuroNebu's policy was mainly focused on music, so I never imagined they'd release an ASMR voice work on DLsite. Yura-chan has a healing, warm-and-fuzzy voice that's genuinely well-suited for ASMR, and in fact her regular ASMR streams are one of her main content pillars. Her ASMR technique is also wonderful — though still a bit inexperienced, the sounds are careful and pleasant, giving a real sense of healing. This work is a situational ASMR where you spend a sweet, lovey-dovey time with Yura-chan as a childhood friend and idol-in-training. It stays almost entirely true to who Yura-chan really is, so from a listener's perspective, it feels as if the Yura-chan you know has become your own childhood friend. The ASMR content feels like a full course — you can enjoy a rich variety of ASMR, including lap pillows, ear cleaning, and sleeping together with heartbeat sounds, all delivered in Yura-chan's healing voice. Overall, as an ASMR voice work, it's very well made, and I think it's recommendable both to people who already know Yura-chan and those who don't. If there's one flaw, it's that some of the ASMR sounds are set at a much lower volume compared to Yura-chan's voice, making them almost inaudible in places (this is especially noticeable with the oil ear cleaning). I suppose we can hope for adjustments in this area going forward.
