I've listened to many of her other audio works, and I felt that (this one included, of course) none of them are ever a miss. Overall it had a slow, calm feel, and combined with her gentle voice, it was very pleasant to listen to. The distance in the relationship with the protagonist (=listener) as childhood friends also felt just right. Personally, my favorite part is in track 3 where she does the ear cleaning while chattering away. In the part about the test period in this work, for some reason you get the urge to clean your room… I really related to this, lol. Probably it's just an excuse to avoid studying though, lol. I'm jealous of anyone who has a childhood friend girl who worries about them like this. The massage-with-hands situation felt warming, it was good. It felt so nice I wanted her to keep doing it forever! Also, having someone else clean your ears is still the best (though sadly no one does that in reality, tears), but the sense of really having it done to you is irresistible. And the whispering while putting you to sleep — I was like, this is dangerous! lol It's a situation I personally love, and it felt like it really had a sleep-inducing effect, so it was great! It goes without saying that voice actress Yui Asami's performance is wonderful, but the way she could portray a childhood friend who feels this close and familiar left me with nothing but admiration. The treatments are massage, ear cleaning, and ear blowing — fairly standard content for an audio work, so it's something you can enjoy with peace of mind. Please let yourself be healed by a pure, kind, and warm childhood friend who might have existed, somewhere, somehow.

To be honest, I'm an adult woman, and "high school tests? Oh man, I got some brutal scores back then, haha" is the kind of thing I'd say while staring off into the distance. It's a memory from a distant past. But this work really soaked into my recently worn-out, frayed-at-the-edges heart. Personally I like both high-pitched and low, husky voices and have been healed by both, but for my current state (especially mentally), this slow, laid-back voice had an enormous healing effect. It fit perfectly. So I wondered what other elements were healing me so much, and I think it's the writer's way with the lines. In between the massaging and ear cleaning, she says these little heartwarming things, and it really puts you at ease, so to speak. It's nice that she's considerate of you and says cute things, and I found myself listening while forgetting my own gender. Also, after mentioning that the frown lines on your forehead had disappeared, there's a moment where she pats your shoulder a few times — that hit unexpectedly well. I'm not yet at the level of seriously needing "mama voice" or "total affirmation" type works, but I think this is effective for when you want to be comforted. It's also short enough to listen to easily, and the sense of fulfillment is incredible. It's been about a week since I bought it, and I kept meaning to write a review, but every time I played it to write one I'd just get healed and forget — finally managed to write it now.

I bought this because the heroine's voice actress is Yui Asami. Mahiru, the laid-back childhood friend, is a kind-hearted girl who heals the protagonist while also saying cute things like how she ends up getting healed herself too. I also used to have a childhood friend like that who healed me. Both the ear massage and the ear cleaning felt great, with a quality good enough that you might fall asleep if you let your guard down. It'd be nice if the relationship with Mahiru could develop further through this healing. Though the current distance between them is also nice as it is. Also, Asami-san's ear blowing is the best.

This is an audio work where you're invited by "Mahiru," your ever-present childhood friend who attends the same high school as you, to her room to be healed by her. I listened to the trial version posted on YouTube and decided to buy it, but listening to the full version is even more amazing. Yui Asami's healing voice pairs perfectly with the bonten and ear blowing that tickle deep inside your ear, and I was thoroughly healed. A childhood friend who treats you specially, saying "I wanted to do this for you..." is just too charming — it's not fair.
