I Want to Die. ~The Devoted Maid and Broken You~ (CV: Yumemi Asaki)

You never know what life will throw at you, and painful times are bound to come… and when they do, perhaps anyone might find themselves thinking about a certain thing. This work might just become the thing that holds you back from acting on that thought. It may be only a small force, but it's a genuinely powerful, deeply moving work. I strongly felt that it would be wonderful if this work could become one of someone's reasons to keep living. I feel pathetic that I can only put it into such ordinary words. I want you to feel her love. I want you to come to like her, and yourself, even just a little. I want you to be loved. Honestly, I take my hat off to the circle for delivering something this good on their very first work. And my thanks to Asaki Yumemi for her wonderful performance. It's truly, truly a lovely, lovely work full of love.

I've listened to all kinds of romance ASMR works up until now, but this one is a pure-love work with a flavor unlike anything before. It's about two people who both carry seriously heavy pasts, who ultimately become master and maid and also lovers. What's interesting is that the user (the master) is extremely self-deprecating with painfully low self-esteem, but the heroine, the maid, denies all of that with everything she's got, endlessly affirms him, and pours out her feelings of love with all her might. Of course, it's not just a one-sided story where the master is saved by the heroine—the heroine is saved too. In fact, it's precisely because the master rescued the heroine from hell that she found hope to live, found someone to love, and came to want to protect the protagonist and stay by his side even if it means giving her all. The heroine, saved by the protagonist, affirms, loves, and pampers him to no end. She even appeals so hard because she wants him to take her 'first' quickly, conveying her 'love' with such full force that listening to it makes you squirm. This work depicts the story up until the two finally become equal lovers, but I want to see even more of these two flirting so sweetly it makes you want to spit sugar, so I'm hoping for a sequel. That's how wonderful this work was.

I've watched Asaki Yumemi on YouTube too, and I was struck by her warm tone of voice and careful pronunciation. This time it's a wonderful situation—a pure-love maid work—so I bought it right away. I listened to the whole thing, and it was a work I couldn't get through without tears. I can only describe it in one word: wonderful. I'm so glad I got to hear this work. It made me feel glad I'd kept living up until now. It's a work I want you to listen to when you feel like living is hard, like things are painful. I seriously recommend it.
