I buy every single work from Circle Deburi without fail, and I bought this one the moment it was released. Just as I expected, it was amazing. This time the water sounds were supposed to be an accent, but the voice and sound effects were so soothing that I fell asleep before I even got there, and it's only recently that I finally managed to make it to the water sound track (lol). Seriously recommend this!
The ear cleaning is high quality as always and hits the spot, so I'll skip over that. With the character's calm, downer-type vibe, it felt easy to focus and relax while listening. Maybe because it's crafted around water sounds and a cool, water-conscious feel, the ear-blowing sounds different from usual—colder, or more like it gives you a shiver. The combination of downer × water × ear cleaning had the effect of making me fall asleep before I even noticed.
I laughed at the protagonist's unwavering behavior right from the start. And then there's the protagonist's little sister's, I guess you'd call it social skills, making friends with a ghost as usual—so on-brand. I laughed at the reaction when it tried to possess her, at the part about earwax. The ear cleaning was really good too, but the sound of water sloshing was also really nice, and it felt perfect for summer. The water sounds from both ears were great too, and I laughed at the end where she gets treated like a toy. Lines you don't usually get to hear from Korisu-san are also nice. I also love the bonus illustration.
