Perfect for listeners who enjoy deadpan characters, quiet emotional growth, and lighthearted slice-of-life comedy.
A situation voice work following a former warrior girl who is slowly relearning how to feel emotions. Set at an all-you-can-eat buffet, she surprises everyone by refusing to order anything else until she finishes a massive plate of fried rice first. Beneath her deadpan tone lies a clumsy, heartwarming sincerity as she rediscovers what it means to be human.
Is this... emotion...? A deep dive into the theme everyone loves — "a girl regaining her emotions" This is a situational voice work of about 11 minutes.

This was my first time buying a work from this circle, but when I looked before buying, other titles had a similarly niche-feeling vibe, and I felt a bit hesitant about buying. I was scared whether I'd be able to keep up with how niche it might be. Also, this was the first time a title made nothing but question marks pop up in my head the moment I read it. I felt ashamed that despite studying hard back in my school days, I couldn't understand the Japanese. But despite a title like that, the content was every bit as dense and rich as the title itself. All sorts of emotions come rushing at you. Is it really okay to enjoy something this rich and dense at such an affordable price...?
This is a story set at an all-you-can-eat restaurant, where the heroine's murderous urges (fits) come at you again and again. The chuuni-style atmosphere is crafted properly and thoroughly, yet the topics she brings up are so pointless it's addictive (lol) With her distinctive characterization and her eye for capturing an ordinary slice-of-life moment, this was once again a situation I could thoroughly enjoy (´ω`) The all-you-can-eat restaurant's strategies—like using oil to make you feel bloated, or salt to make you drink more water... If you like strong flavors, you totally fall for it, but honestly, you're happier eating what you actually like!
Just from the title and the illustration, I already thought "this looks funny..." and started listening. It began seriously, but before I knew it, I couldn't stop laughing. Anyway, the changes in the girl's emotional state are just too funny. I'm glad she became able to voice her feelings... but that way of talking and those emotional ups and downs belong to a comedian, not an ordinary person, I kept retorting in my head with a grin, over and over. It has this heartwarming-yet-comedic hybrid feel to it. There's her backstory about only now realizing she'd been teased by her friends, blended nicely with an episode where she goes to an all-you-can-eat place and gets served a huge plate of fried rice. The two blend together really well, and I enjoyed it all the way through without ever getting bored. The punchline was excellent too. This is definitely a work I can recommend!
