About thirty years after the great war of the first-generation heroes, the world has settled into peace, and the members of the Hero Club begin uncovering hidden truths left behind from that old era. As they piece together the feelings of people who lived through the past, the story unfolds through warm friendship and gentle adventure. Told from a third-person voice-drama perspective, it carries a cheerful, heartfelt tone throughout.
This work is set in a world about 30 years after the great war of the original Yuusha, a world that is gradually returning to peace. It's the story of what happens after Lili recruited Yuzuki to start the Yuusha Club, a group dedicated to uncovering the hidden truths of the world. On New Year's Eve, while relaxing in her room, Yuzuki gets a call from Lili summoning her to a certain place. It seems Lili has some thoughts about the Yuusha Club's current activities...?
A cheerful and curious girl with an American mother. She's knowledgeable and quick-witted, but has almost no physical stamina and is bad at sports. She values discovering the truth with her own eyes above all else, and founded the Yuusha Club for that purpose. Even after achieving a major goal, she continues her activities. Her nickname is Lili.
A girl who acts cool and is athletically gifted. She helps out with the Yuusha Club's activities, but is constantly at the mercy of Lili's unexpected antics. Even so, she looks after Lili well and, deep down, seems to trust her. Due to a certain bitter memory, she has a complex about her own name, which was given to her in homage to the Yuusha.
A straightforward, no-nonsense girl in the same grade as Lili and Yuzuki. She's the type to dive deeply into a single passion, showing tremendous energy and drive, but can be quite cold toward things that don't interest her. She's active online and elsewhere, working to spread awareness of the greatness of Yuuna Takashima, one of the original Yuusha whom she deeply admires.

She's a petite beauty who's free-spirited, cheerful, brimming with charm, friendly, and goes wherever her momentum takes her. She tends to toss in unfamiliar four-character idioms. She has no stamina at all — in the shrine visit scene she's gasping for breath like she's about to die. She lies without batting an eye, and her stalker-like persistence sometimes makes her friends recoil in disbelief. But— In the key moments, she comes out with something genuinely good, a ray of hope. She has a cowardly side too, but she's supported by her friends. Just hearing the name Kamisato Hinata makes her tremble with fear. Her joy, anger, sorrow, and delight are all amplified far beyond an ordinary person's, making her an intensely vivid, flashy, and charming girl. Since it's not wartime, there's a reassuring feeling that these girls probably... won't end up unhappy! To briefly explain the story: The two Yuunas are searching for comrades who also bear the name "Yuuna." A new companion named Suzu, a follower of Takashima, joins them. They hear from her parents about what happened during the Vertex disaster. Riri reads the diary her mother wrote after the disaster. While they're engaged in this kind of investigation into the past, Karasuma Kumiko, who was once a shrine maiden of Takashima Yuuna, approaches Suzu about joining the Taisha. And right there, the story cuts off abruptly.
