Set in a pottery town, this gentle companion ASMR follows Kiriko, a railroad android who has watched over you since childhood, as she guides her beloved "master" through a leisurely tour of a ceramics park. Nabeshima Domain Kiln Park. One of Saga Prefecture's great prides, this park stands at the sacred ground of Imari ware, and all around it countless kilns have gathered, bringing together every sound connected to pottery-making. The sound of clay, of water, of the kiln fire. The sound of Imari ware wind chimes, swayed and rung by the wind that blows through the Imari ware village. Through strolling and pottery-making experiences, lend your ear to these sounds and enjoy them. And when your skin and ears grow tired from all that enjoyment, the clay and pottery of Imari will surely heal them. After soaking your body in massages and packs made with a cream blended with mud—clay—it's time for some ear cleaning with an adorable ear pick topped with an Imari ware figurine. Used luxuriously in place of a cotton fluff is kayori, twisted from torn handmade washi paper—the sound and sensation woven from tradition and culture will surely loosen you up, all the way down to your core. Kiriko, who has watched over and raised you with love ever since you were small. The sounds that she seeks out together with you—full of affection, and sometimes showing you a spoiled side of herself—the sounds the two of you build together, will surely support you anew, right from your very foundation. Kiriko is a Railroad who protected and loved the town of Nagasaki, and it was precisely because of that love that she left Nagasaki behind to come to her second hometown, Imari. She says she has found something more important to her than a Railroad's essential mission of "safely delivering people and cargo to their destination." She has watched over and raised you with deep affection since you were small, and while she dotes on you endlessly, she also sometimes leans on you now that you've grown into a fine adult. While sharing the themes of watching over, growth, and repaying kindness, a new feeling that goes beyond just that has slowly begun to grow between the two of you.

Overall, this is a leisurely-paced voice drama work. When it comes to Tadokoro Azusa, my impression is that she generally has two or three distinct voice types (this is just my personal impression), but in this work she uses a calm, "onee-san" type voice. Rather than being elegant/refined, it has a coolness that quietly conveys the passage of years. Those who like this type of voice will be thoroughly satisfied. In my listening environment, compared to other works from the same circle, on a three-level scale this is medium volume, the voice comes through clearly, and the ambient sounds and ear-cleaning sounds are a bit more subdued, giving it a flat balance. The voice is never too loud, so it can also be used for sleep. Overall, this leans strongly toward the voice drama side. Track 6 has a bit of seriousness to it, but the narration is restrained, not enough to be bothersome. After it continues for a few minutes, you'll be soothed by a gentle tone of voice. As for the content, it's as described in the introduction. In other works with a "foster parent" situation, there have been characters like Asahi and Kakaa from Railroad, but compared to them, this has a sense of closeness with a much larger age gap—it feels more like Kiriko treating you as a grandchild, as she jokingly says within the work. It's a good situation with a strong sense of being older. As for the bonus content, there's a .txt file of the script and a thumbnail without the logo. The previous season of Chikuon Reeru had things like character standing illustrations, but this one doesn't seem to include that. This is an audio work that lets you relax and feel healed while sensing a calm, genuine affection.
With Imari-yaki pottery making, a potter's wheel experience, ear cleaning with washi paper, and more, this is a truly one-of-a-kind ASMR experience you simply can't get from other audio works. The voice actress in charge, Tadokoro Azusa, has a voice that's calm yet has wonderful modulation, and it's extremely pleasant to listen to. The fact that there's a looping sleep-breathing track is also a nice touch. If you listen to the samples and feel a spark of interest, this is a work you won't regret buying.
I bought this because Tadokoro Azusa was doing the voice. Kiriko-chan's dialect is really nice. In track 3, the sound of the clay cream & pack sliding across the skin is incredibly soothing and healing. Also, the strength of the ear cleaning is just right and feels really good.
