Burping. It's a bodily function. Burping. It's something necessary for life. Burping. It's something that can slip out unconsciously. And so, the circle that has come to present this new world of "burping as sleep-aid audio" is, of course, none other than "+ ucca ∫ ucca +." That's right. It's all-ages, isn't it. Burping is a bodily function, and it might happen while sleeping, right? Which means, amid peaceful sleeping breaths and mumbly, smacking mouth sounds, couldn't a whisper-like burp slip out too? They've condensed "only" that seemingly-unlikely-yet-plausible situation and calmly released it upon the world. That's what gets me! I admire it! It's more restrained than the adult-rated works, with a nice balance against the sleeping breaths, making it a good work even for those new to burp sounds. Now, despite being labeled "for peaceful sleep," the entirely natural question arises: "can you actually fall asleep to this?" To cut to the conclusion, I did fall asleep. There was definitely a certain degree of drowsiness involved, I think. Listening in track order — right ear... then left ear... and just as I thought, "alright, now for the binaural track!" ...that's when I got into bed. So that the burping wouldn't stop while I slept, I made a playlist combining all the right, left, and binaural tracks, and had loop playback fully prepared. Amid the peaceful sleeping and smacking sounds from both ears, a somewhat forceful — though still restrained — burp sound comes through. "Ohh, a burp heard simultaneously from both ears really does hit differently than just one ear... ♪" As I was enjoying that a few times over... ...I dropped off. Easily, effortlessly. And the moment I woke up, the first thing I heard was, again, a burp. The sound was gentle and restrained, and I felt that I, who got to hear such a wonderful burp sound, must surely be a special person. I've already bought it. And of course, for those new to burp sounds, I recommend "Whisper Burp." Because all of you are special too.
It was a world I'd never dipped into before, you know. But it's + ucca ∫ ucca +. You can't help but trust it. I'd always watched from a cautious distance, but then my familiar driver showed up with the shuttle bus. Of course I got on. To cut to the conclusion, instead of falling peacefully asleep, I woke right up. Nice, burping. Nice. So good. Just as I was getting all fluttery over the cute breathing, suddenly right in my ear: "geeeeeh~" It's like... gap moe...? Is that what this is...? It gives me chills. What am I even getting excited about — this is all-ages sleep-aid audio. For people who aren't used to burping — well, I guess normally people aren't, right. No, wait. Maybe there's no such thing as "normal." My bad for setting aside my own ignorance. Anyway, even if you're not used to it, if you think of it as "sleeping under the same futon as a species for whom burping naturally happens often," I think it goes down pretty smoothly. "Ah, there she goes, burping properly. So cute. Drink up all that air." If you're not the type to get all excited and fluttery over burping, I think you can sleep peacefully. But if you are the type to get fluttery — well, you get to feel fluttery. That's me. I'm completely hooked. Hearing the word "burp" makes it sound harsh, sure. But hey, if you think calmly about it, just consider it in the same category as snoring. Natural. Wholesome. The sound of life. They're beside you. Close to you. Right there. That kind of reassurance. Honestly, at this point it'd feel lacking without the burping. Of course I'll buy it if a sequel comes out. Anyway, I hope her throat's okay.
I've long been very, very, very much indebted to Soramame.'s burp works (from other circles), but I had been wishing for a work that was "burping only." This work delivers sensuous, warm burps from the right, the left, and both ears at once — it could be called the pinnacle of burp works. Personally, I think Soramame.'s burps are a cut above other voice actresses'. I'd really love for a "Whisper Burp 2" to be released as well.
