I bought this because Chirol Oyama was credited as the voice actress. The flow goes like this: in the first listen, you hear the exchange between her and yourself, then in the second listen, you hear her inner thoughts during that same exchange from the first listen, which then continues on into the rest of the story. I won't go into detail about the content, but I got a bit teary-eyed while listening to the second track. The letter effect really adds a lot too. Make sure to print it out. One thing to note — this applies to voice works like this in general — after you finish listening, you might end up comparing it to your own real life and feel like crying. (Maybe that's just me though...) Anyway... even so, it's amazing while you're listening, and the price is reasonable too, so I'd recommend it.
I bought this because I like voice drama-style works like this. I won't go into detail about the content, but after finishing the first listen and then learning the "true ending" on the second listen, I was really moved. Just as the circle recommends, I think actually keeping the letter on hand while listening amplifies the emotional impact even more. That was certainly true for me. Personally, what I liked was the fact that "the story is structured to be listened to twice." You grasp the flow on the first listen, and then on the second listen, the parts you didn't understand the first time get filled in. This kind of structure really suited my taste. — Why not receive a letter with a voice attached? —
A voice work about 50 minutes long. The story is about being confessed to by a strong-willed heroine (Yuki Kashiwagi) from the archery club. The voice actress is Chirol Oyama. Given her long career and many roles, her performance in this work is solid as always. It has a feel similar to a looping voice drama, something that might be common in games, but rare to see in a voice work like this. After the first pass (5 tracks), there's a second pass (7 tracks) with some overlapping parts, but I'd recommend listening in this order, overlaps included. Especially in the second pass, you get to hear the heroine's inner thoughts, and I felt that this part is the heart of the work. I also liked how, despite the heroine being someone seemingly out of reach, she isn't very proactive about romance and shows a vulnerable side at times. The included letter can be enjoyed by printing it out to read along while listening, but it's also displayed at a decent size in the browser and is easy to read, so I think that way of enjoying it works well too.
