I honestly wasn't expecting a second volume, but here it is—finally! Yes! This is an image song album for the "Shi Maisou" series released by the same circle. The songs are great on their own, but if you've experienced the game's world, I think you'll get an even different impression from them. The overall tone of the music is dark and slow-paced, and compared to the first volume, a lot of it feels quite different. Still, it fits the image of Shi Maisou perfectly, so it's no issue at all. The lyrics also give you a lot to think about, and the more you dig into them, the deeper you get sucked in. ...Yeah, if you haven't played Shi Maisou, you're missing out on a lot of the charm, so go play it, okay? (straightforward There's also free talk included, where the cast talks about their feelings toward their characters, their thoughts on the songs, and even touches a bit on the main story of Shi Maisou. The only other place where the performers talk about the main story is in the free talk from the first image album, so this is pretty valuable too (I'm so happy about it...! My impressions ended up being mostly premised on having played the main "Shi Maisou" story, but if listening to the songs sparks your interest, I really hope you'll go ahead and play the main game too!
