Ignoring a Junior Girl Until She Cries

Lured in by the title, I thought "heh, this looks interesting, let's take a peek" and listened to the sample. On day one, I thought "well, she's being pretty provocative about it" Even so, the being-ignored part was pretty harsh, but it was still something I could kind of swallow. But as the days went on, it became more like "...wait...?" Kanon-chan's sense of unease as time passes, her delicate emotional nuances, were performed with such incredible precision that by the time I finished listening to the sample, I'd already hit the purchase button. We never really know what's going on in the senpai's mind, so from partway through, all I could think was "I want to hug this girl right now." Even after being ignored for so, so long, that she still keeps facing him like that that's just an incredible kind of love, isn't it? Of course you'd end up falling for her. And Kanon-chan, who becomes so overwhelmingly pitiful and endearing, was performed magnificently by the voice actress Suika-san, so even to those who might shy away because of the title, thinking "a girl having a hard time, that's a bit...", I really want you to give this a listen. It was so, so good. I'm glad I found it.

I love how the earnest girl worries about so many things, I love the part where she cries from loneliness, I love how even after saying she'd give up, she couldn't quite let go, and I love how she worked so hard, full of the feeling of wanting to see him again — I love all of it. Listening to it made my chest ache so much, and I just wanted to hug her and comfort her. The voice actress's performance was also amazing; I got pulled in and almost cried a few times. I'll keep supporting her from now on.

Suika-san, who plays the protagonist, delivers a performance where she holds back tears while forcing her voice out, and it was truly wonderful — it made the character pitiful while also highlighting her adorableness, and it just wrenched at my heart. I especially loved the depth of the performance, where you could catch glimpses of her true feelings and inner conflict hidden behind her lines. Even though it's a short work, it really struck me deeply. Thank you for such a wonderful work! I'm looking forward to the next one!
