What I love first and foremost is how immersive the story is right from the prologue. The heroine is a gal-type character, and personally she really hit the spot for me. She's a gal, but not in an overbearing "gal-gal" way — she's got a younger brother and shows a caring side, striking a really nice balance. Ohara-san's gal acting is comfortable to listen to, of course, but what really got me was the sound quality, with clear attention paid to the ambient/environmental sounds. Track 2, the head massage, sounds incredibly pleasant — it's clear a professional supervised it. Honestly, I fell asleep listening to it. Track 3, the sound of studying with a pencil writing in a notebook, was nostalgic and instantly transported me back to my school days. The way she dozes off during the "working together" call is way too cute. Track 4 is the reliable ear-cleaning track, but the little mischief during the ear cleaning has that close-distance gal vibe that I really liked. A gal who's kind to otaku — it's a classic setup, but it really is great after all...
I've listened to several of Konomi Ohara-san's voice works and anime performances before, but this kind of gal character seems to be a rare type for her. My impression of her was more of a clever girl or an energetic girl type, so this really caught me off guard at first. "I'll heal you, so you do me too" — that lack of pretense, that good kind of shamelessness, was really nice. I think it was a great work.
This was a very soothing ASMR work. Ohara-san's fluffy, soft voice is way too cute. I especially recommend the massage part. It's incredibly relaxing. Also, the closeness in the manga cafe scene was so intense that I unconsciously covered my face with both hands.
