[Azur Lane ASMR] Healing Squad, Assemble! Sheffield's All-Day Refresh

I haven't played Azur Lane, but I bought this because I'm a fan of the voice actress. When it comes to voice actress Yoshimi Ohara, she's someone with a very gentle, soft voice, and there are quite a few of her ASMR works on DLsite as well. When I first saw the package, my first thought was, "Huh, is this a cool-type character?" Given her vocal quality, she often does characters with childlike, cute designs. Even for downer-type characters, she often plays ones that are somehow soft, so this kind of cool, sharp character felt a bit unexpected to me, but I bought it right away anyway. In conclusion, it was amazing. She can make a voice like that!!??? Wait, that's so cool!!?? Cool, but gentle, a bit harsh but full of love!!? As an ASMR work, the quality was also excellent, and I fell fast asleep and am writing this review the next morning. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a different side of Yoshimi Ohara's voice than usual!

"Just as I thought" was my honest impression. What I mean is that Sheffield's voice is ridiculously well-suited to ASMR. I don't think it's great to sum it up in one word, but she's the so-called "downer type" that's popular in the audio work community. And on top of that, she's cute. There's a lot of near-silent whispering right by your ear, which is incredibly soothing. Her occasional "Nn///"-type voices are cute too, huh~ ^^ And while I did write that she's "foul-mouthed," as those who know already know, this girl loves her Commander dearly. I'll avoid spoilers, but of course she conveys that in words in this work too. For the most part she stays composed even so, but there are moments when her tone gets a little bashful... Just for that alone, it's worth buying if you're a Sheffield fan.

I've bought a few works in this series, but honestly none of them really clicked with me (even though the characters were cute), so I was starting to wonder if ASMR just wasn't for me. But since my absolute favorite, Sheffield, was featured, I bowed my head and bought it. It was amazing. First there's an intro full of Sheffield's characteristic venomous remarks (there's gunfire too). At that point I was nowhere near falling asleep, but gradually she starts showing her gentler side. When she gets close to the Commander, it really feels like Sheffield is right there next to your ear. That's the kind of feeling it gives you. And then, after plenty of lovey-dovey moments, a lap pillow. If you know her character setting, the thrill of that lap pillow doubles. Sometimes she lets out rough breaths like "Ugh," "Nngh"... just what exactly is she doing...? And then, just as I was getting all flustered, the word "I love you"! My whole body just shuddered. Is there really this much happiness in the world, being whispered words of love by Sheffield? And as if to finish me off, she repeats "I love you" over and over. I felt like my body was going to melt away completely. When it ended, I found myself thinking, don't go yet! Sheffield's lower voice pairs wonderfully with the whispering voice work, and I could feel her close by the whole way through. So this is how devastating ASMR can be. It even made me imagine, is this how things always are, all lovey-dovey, back at our home port? Atelier Mail, and the voice actress, thank you for this wonderful audio work. I think I would have bought it even if it cost 100 times as much. This is an absolute must-buy for any Commander who loves Sheffield. And finally, I love you, Sheffie-chan!
