The Fox Deity Wants to Clean Your Ears

The fox goddess's subtle gentleness, warmth, and healing presence are amazing!!! I was able to spend such a calm and relaxed, healing time. As ASMR content, it features the classic ear cleaning with an ear pick and cotton swab, finished off with ear blowing — very simple and something you can listen to with complete peace of mind. What really shines within that is the fox goddess's charm! Rather than making you want to be coddled, she has a warmth that makes you feel you can safely entrust yourself to her. Even when hearing a somewhat unusual story from the listener, she acknowledges it as "someone earnestly seeking peace of mind," and shows the generosity to accept it as one valid perspective and reach out a helping hand. She takes interest in human actions, and even though her manner of speaking doesn't change, you can feel a nurturing kind of love that conveys just how much she adores humans. Combined with Yui Asami's lower-pitched, mature older-sister voice — or rather, her fox deity voice — and the way she talks, I felt a deep sense of security in having the fox goddess clean my ears. From the sound of birds chirping in the distance, a scene of a shrine overflowing with nature comes to mind; while resting your head on the fox goddess's lap for ear cleaning, you get to listen leisurely to her talk, and finally receive plenty of ear blowing like a breeze sweeping through the mountains. The hour-plus runtime felt like it passed in an instant, and I was able to spend a time so calm that I could truly savor the healing.

I bought this for Yui Asami's older-sister-type voice. In doujin audio works, this kind of fox-eared deity character type (I won't say all of them, but) tends to often be either a "loli-but-not-loli" type or have a strongly defined character even when not loli. That was something that used to bother me a bit. With this work, while it did give a decent sense of behaving and thinking like a deity (or rather, a higher being) with differing values, I felt the main focus was really on "a woman with a mystical atmosphere healing you as an older-sister figure." The volume balance as ASMR was also to my liking, so I was very satisfied.

This is a work so charming that fans of Yui Asami should absolutely buy it. In this work, the fox goddess's "love" feels like it seeps into your entire body, truly a divine kind of healing. The dignified, noble-feeling older-sister fox goddess with her low voice gently and carefully soothes your ears, letting you experience a healing moment overflowing with compassion, motherliness, and warmth. Listening to this work, you'll drift into a deep, peaceful sleep as if sleeping in a quiet forest, thanks to a calm low voice that's a bit different from Yui Asami's usual gentle tone.
