This is a fairly rare work, even as a voice drama—a "whispered machine-gun talk." There are almost no scenes to enjoy sound effects like ear cleaning or shampooing; nearly every track just has her talking right next to your ear, on and on and on. Aside from the dialogue, about the only other sound is a sleep-breath-like exhale in a few tracks. Sound effects like footsteps or clothing rustle appear only in a small portion, less than 10% of the whole. But that's what makes it good. She's just talking at you one-sidedly, but because it's such a gentle whisper the whole time, far from getting tiring, you find yourself wanting to keep listening forever. Just talking alone would normally drag on and get boring, but there's a natural rhythm and inflection, just like someone happily chatting with someone close to them, so it never feels stale or sluggish. It's like listening to a master storyteller's rakugo performance. Definitely recommended for those times when you want to feel some warmth. I bet if you turned Awarena-san into an audio work, this is exactly what it would feel like.

Surprisingly, within the Kotoiri High School ASMR Club series, this one has no props and no massage—whisper only—yet it still holds up wonderfully thanks to the soothing voice, the conversational tempo, and how entertaining the content is; it doesn't lose out at all compared to the other works in the series. Ahh, isn't it great… I wish I had a senpai like that too… someone so adorable it messes with your sense of distance… a small, cute senpai… isn't that just the best… It was also nice that the mysterious "maybe she's rich" suspicion from two installments ago finally got clarified, giving a real sense of connection between the stories. There's a surprising development in this one too, so who knows what'll happen next… I'm really hoping it gets properly resolved in a sequel.

I bought this after being drawn in by a YouTube video. It turned out even better than I imagined, and I feel glad I bought it. Since I especially love whispering sounds among ASMR works, this one matched my taste perfectly and was very satisfying. She keeps talking the whole way through, so even when I focused in on the ASMR, I never got bored. The situation, the acting, and the sound quality were all pulled together at a high level. If you listen to the sample and think it's good, you definitely won't regret buying it.
