Also, seeing "Natsuha," who used to have such a young and innocent impression, now grown up and so composed, gave me a really warm feeling, especially with the gap from her previous impression. I was excited and looking forward to hearing what life is like for the two of them now that they've grown up. Below are some thoughts on the content (partial spoilers) In the "Title Call," the initial work description was given by the familiar, usual "Natsuha," but once the main story began, the atmosphere completely changed and I found myself drawn in. In "Library," it was heartwarming to unexpectedly catch glimpses of Natsuha's childlike reactions despite her calm demeanor. In "Studying for Exams," the ambient sounds had such a wonderful sense of presence and were so comfortable that I listened while emptying my mind completely. In "Making Kinton," the way Natsuha worked with an "heave-ho, heave-ho" feel, along with the pleasant sounds of making kinton, was very soothing. In "Fried Sesame Dumplings," I found it pleasant listening to her simply describe the cooking process along with the sounds of cooking. In "Washing Dishes," listening to the sound of washing dishes while casually chatting with Natsuha created such a relaxed atmosphere that I nearly fell asleep. In "Deep Cleaning the Kitchen Sink," the sound of thoroughly scrubbing the sink had a comfort somehow reminiscent of ear cleaning, which was very relaxing. In "Ear Cleaning," I was able to experience exactly the pleasant sensation I expected, which was extremely satisfying. In "Nap Time," I felt quite touched and sentimental.
This is an audio work that serves as a kind of epilogue, featuring the grown-up version of "Natsuha," the heroine of "Monobeno." In this world line where Natsuha has become bound to the protagonist and conceived a child, you can enjoy conversation and ear cleaning while listening to the sounds of her belly carrying the unborn child. You're given an explanation at the start that this work is an "Ihen" (alternate tale) — the kind of story that's a side story or an IF route. While the "Ayakashi Kyoushuutan" series covers the story after the main story's "Akashaguma Sumi" route, this work is the story after Natsuha's route. And in it, Natsuha is pregnant and has become a mother. In a previous work in this series, there was a story with a still-young Natsuha, but compared to that story, you can really feel how she's grown into a calm, composed adult here. However, at her core, she's still definitely Natsuha, and you can sense her feelings of wanting to be spoiled by "you," her older-brother figure, giving a real sense of the passage of time — or rather, her growth. Also, unlike the previous Natsuha, you can listen to the ear-related parts with peace of mind lol. Even as an adult, this was a work where I got to hear the Natsuha story I really wanted to hear, delivered properly. Could we possibly get an "Ihen" for Arisu too???
