In the ruined Earth of 2318, you are a Synchronizer — the only person who can stabilize elite soldier Serena's crystallizing mind. The setting is the year 2318, a near-future Earth. Humanity lost its civilization to the "Blank Collapse." Cities crumbled, and the land became covered in dangerous zones known as "Echo Zones." There, an enemy of unknown origin that attacks humans, called VOID, appears. Against VOID, which cannot be defeated by conventional weapons, humanity formed ECHO Operators, a combat unit that utilizes a special crystal called the "Aether Crystal." The Operators serve as the core of the city's defense, but they bear the risk of their bodies gradually crystallizing the more they fight. What halts the crystallization is an act called "Synchronization," performed by the protagonists, the Synchronizers, by pressing their foreheads together. The effect is greater the higher the sync rate with the Operator. Serena, the protagonist's partner Operator, is a top-tier ace known by the title "The Azure End." Supporting and healing her is the protagonist's mission. While cool and composed during battle, Serena somehow becomes a bit more clingy toward the protagonist back at base. She comes to open her heart to the protagonist, seeking comfort and healing.
