I'm a fan of the voice actress, and since this was said to be her first voice work release, I decided to purchase it. Unlike her usual voice and demeanor, she fully crafted and performed the character's voice with real professional seriousness, and the work turned out wonderfully. It really conveyed the image of Himari-chan, the girl on the thumbnail, and I felt it came together as a wonderfully healing voice work thanks to her. If there's a next work, I definitely want to buy it.
The junior-like quality combined with that soft, fluffy cute voice was truly amazing! The way she spoke with such natural closeness made me really feel like I was being talked to by a junior like that!! The tone of her voice was also very easy to listen to, and I've replayed it over and over again!! I love both Merun-chan's voice and this scenario so much!! When I listened at max volume with earphones, my brain just melted...!
I don't usually buy audio works, but I really enjoyed this one. The junior, Himari Kawamoto, has a bit of a cheeky feel with some slightly teasing lines, but you can sense her feelings for her senpai, making her a really great character. During the earwax cleaning scene in the first half, I found myself thinking, "wait, you don't normally carry around ear picks, do you...? Did she bring it along on purpose?" and then in the latter half, that got answered, which made me chuckle a little. Partway through there's a bit of trivia-sharing, and it's nice to think that she looked all this up for her senpai's sake too. As for the voice, I felt the soft voice suited the character very well. It carried emotion and felt natural to listen to. The subtle breaths that came in here and there felt really pleasant too, and helped me relax. I'd love to hear her performance as a different kind of character as well.
