She's... way too caring for her own good...! Cu... cute... she's such a pushover...! Did the protagonist make the face like the one from that certain consumer-loan commercial, the one where you get stared at by a chihuahua...? Normally you'd expect the requests to build up gradually from legitimate caretaking tasks — like the apple-peeling scene that's actually in the story — before eventually reaching something like this. But the fact that they open with sleeping together really drives home just how much of a pushover Alma-chan is, right from the start. Nicely done. Even in the middle of the story she becomes his hugging pillow so he can listen to her heartbeat, and in the final track of the main story they sleep together again — she really is the ultimate cuddling-together heroine... Alma-chan... Even requests that would normally come off as pretty creepy, she goes along with while grumbling "ugh, this is such a pain"... and it really seems like she'll keep taking care of him even after he's discharged from the hospital... What do I do... I think I've fallen for Alma-chan. Aah! I want to sleep beside Alma-chan too!! I want to listen to her heartbeat too!! She's the type of half-Japanese character with amazing looks, she's voiced by Yuko Natsuyoshi whose voice is so healing, and she definitely smells great too!! When listening to this work, the moment you let your guard down even slightly, you get pulled straight into its world and can never get back out. Through her rare and singular "voice," Natsuyoshi-san constructs, inside the listener's headphones, an independent world completely cut off from the outside. And the listener willingly shuts themselves inside it, experiencing this supreme "paradise of sound." Precisely because we live in an era where a voice actor's versatility gets so much attention, the true value of the "acting" she embodies shines with a worth that nothing else can replace. Yuko Natsuyoshi has shown us, vividly and unmistakably, the ultimate expressive power a voice actor can hold, and the miracle of creating a world purely through sound. As a fan, I can't help but look forward to her future work — especially what new world she'll build next with this overwhelming acting ability. I sincerely hope that the "paradise of sound" woven by Yuko Natsuyoshi's voice will continue to captivate many people for a long time to come.

She grumbles "ugh" at every little thing, but it's basically just a verbal tic, so there's no need to worry about it — honestly, about half the time it's just her hiding embarrassment. The heroine Alma is a pushover, sure, but the protagonist is pretty much wide open too, in his own way. Handing over the key to your house to a girl from your class you barely had any contact with takes some nerve. He probably never imagined someone else would end up entering his place after he suddenly got hospitalized. But thanks to both of them having such loose guards, we get to enjoy plenty of Alma's cute sides, which is really great. Personally, I always felt like ear-cleaning was mainly just a byproduct that happens on the side of lap-pillow scenes, but this work does it differently, and that felt refreshing.
