Chihime, born between a miko and the Yokai King, is an adorable otokonoko (boy who looks like a girl). One day, upon turning fourteen, Chihime is suddenly attacked by a yokai claiming to be one of the “Six Maten.” As it turns out, Chihime’s father, Gorozaemon, has issued a decree stating that whoever wins Chihime’s heart shall become the next Yokai King. No matter how much Chihime protests that he never agreed to this, the yokai of the Six Maten keep coming, one after another. Win, and you escape. Lose, and your souls are bound together! Can Chihime possibly escape from the clutches of these women!? A brand-new kind of escape-based shooting action begins at last!
A boy born between the Yokai King and a human miko. The summer he turns fourteen, upon reaching marriageable age, he becomes the target of fierce advances from the beautiful yokai of the “Six Maten,” each vying for the throne of the next Yokai King. The skull hair clip he wears is his watchful guardian, Hone-G (Bone G).
A Shuten-doji living in the mountains. A meathead who cares only about his own strength. He’s convinced that defeating Chihime-kun will make him the next Yokai King.
A tsukumogami girl who can’t resist anything cute. 1,300 years old. Generally gentle-natured, but she may have a psychopathic streak, willing to do whatever it takes to achieve her goals?
A white snake girl who rarely shows her emotions. Kind-hearted, but her one flaw is being a natural-born exhibitionist who doesn’t care much about being seen. She works part-time at a maid café.
