Healing ASMR: The Gentle Onee-san Runs a Soothing Café

Also, the ambient sounds were pleasant, like the crunchy sound of eating biscuits, the sound of tea being brewed, the healing music playing in the shop, and the sound of a hair dryer. ☆ The ear cleaning while lying on her lap, with soft blowing on your ears and gentle scratching from the shallow parts of your ear to the fine details deep inside, along with whispering in your ear, provided such healing that I nearly dozed off. Also, depending on the person, music continues to play during the ear cleaning, so some might find the music a bit distracting. ☆ As for the conversations with 'Ramin', I was really moved by how she does her utmost to heal the protagonist upon seeing how tired he looks. The BGM that changes with each track truly captures the stylish atmosphere of a café, enhancing the feeling of being soothed in a shop. BGM in ASMR works might be a matter of personal preference, but for me, the moderate café BGM actually enhanced the sleep-inducing effect even more. Of course the healing 'menu' items were great, but even the finer ambient sound effects were carefully inserted, and I could really feel the attention to detail. The combination of high-quality, pleasant sound effects with the bright yet calm tone of Sister Ramin, performed by Asaki-shiki, was convincing enough even for someone like me who's an 'ASMR-skeptic uncle who doesn't easily throw around the term ASMR'...! Since the setting is entirely a café, I didn't feel much of a 'sister' element, but when words like 'church' or other 'sisters' suddenly came up in the exchanges with Sister Ramin, it gave me a little jolt and increased the excitement (I love sisters). And speaking of which, that outfit on the jacket illustration! Is it a café uniform? Or perhaps a nun's habit? Either way... it's really great!!

The situations are standard ones like ear cleaning and massage. The fact that BGM plays throughout felt very fitting for a café setting. Since BGM also plays during the ear cleaning and massage, opinions on this aspect might vary from person to person. Personally, I liked Track 1, Track 6, and Track 7 - the first and last tracks - the best. The BGM playing matched well with Asaki-shiki's voice, and it felt really good.
