[Pure Love ASMR] Healing Girlfriend — A Laid-Back Kouhai Girlfriend Devotedly Soothes Her ASMR-Loving Boyfriend

Since my beloved Yuniko-san has finally made her debut in an audio work, please excuse my first review. The content features Minori-chan, who is both a junior and girlfriend to the protagonist, healing him with oil massages and the like. The more sensitive elements amount to about a kiss, and overall it was a really soothing work. It's titled as "downer," but she's not a dark, listless, or cold-feeling character. Minori-chan speaks in a reserved and calm tone, but you can feel that she holds strong feelings inside. She's a devoted girl who pours deep love into her boyfriend—worrying when he doesn't call, feeling jealous of ASMR audio—and the way she comes up with various ways to soothe him for his sake is truly endearing and adorable. She's cute from the very first line. It's cute how much she loves her boyfriend. It's also adorable how she happily talks about aromatherapy. The utterly melted voice after the kiss in Track 6 made my heart skip in the best way... I've thought Yuniko-san's acting was skillful before, but her voice quality fits perfectly too, with no sense of discomfort at all—her tone, breathing, and pacing really brought out the charm of Minori-chan as a character and her emotions. In the free talk, she discussed the nuances of the lines' delivery, and you could tell how carefully she performed the role. Track 6 has a scene where she pats your back and a kiss scene, but the patting sound felt a bit too strong, almost like hitting a futon rather than a gentle pat—that was the one thing that bothered me a little. The kiss scene itself is wonderful as a healing moment and I love it, but since I'm the type who can't fall asleep to sensitive sounds like kissing or ear-licking, for people of the same type, Track 6 might be slightly unsuitable if your purpose is strictly to fall asleep. It felt like they hadn't been dating for very long in the story, so I'd love to hear a sequel set once their relationship has deepened to the point where they speak more casually with each other. ...I'm running out of characters ()

The junior girl who's in a pure relationship with the protagonist has been feeling a bit lonely lately because her senpai hasn't been calling her at night. She even started suspecting he might be cheating, thinking "Could he be on the phone with some other girl?" So the next day she decided to ask him about it. When she went to the spot where he always eats lunch, she found him eating while looking at his phone, and when she peeked at the screen, there was an ASMR video playing. Turns out the reason he'd been calling less at night was because he'd been falling asleep watching ASMR videos lol So you might wonder how the story develops as an audio work from there—it turns out the junior girl, who says "actually, I'm interested in therapy and have been studying massage and aromatherapy," ends up giving him a massage and a soothing aromatherapy session. The oil massage has an ASMR-like feel, but the track where she explains about aromatherapy—well, since it's an audio work you can't actually smell the scents, but it's still a soothing track thanks to her cute voice and calm way of speaking. And there's one more thing: thinking about what kind of healing is only possible because they're a couple, she comforts him with a hug. And not just that—things progress from the hug all the way to their first kiss! The two of them, who've been in a pure relationship, take a step forward, but nothing beyond that happens—it ended up being a very innocent, youthful kind of work.

Her voice is very cute, and the reserved, halting quality of her acting is really nice. But what's also great is when she finds out her senpai boyfriend has been healing his fatigue with ASMR, and she gets a little jealous about it! From there, it's really soothing to see her doing her best to relieve his fatigue with the oil massage she'd been studying. Both her voice and acting are so gentle that I naturally fell asleep.
